CAC President's foreword
Dr Yao Allah-Kouamé
President of the Confederation of African Cycling
Dear cycling enthusiasts,
It is a great honour to address you on the occasion of the launch of the official platform for the Africa Cycling Excellence Awards.
Through this initiative, we aim to celebrate the talent, commitment, and determination of the women and men who, through their performance and team spirit, make African cycling shine on roads around the world.
These awards are more than trophies. They are a tribute to the hard work, courage, and passion that drive our youth and our champions. They also reflect our deep conviction that sport, beyond competition, is a powerful vehicle for unity, hope, and development across our continent.
I invite you to make this platform a space for exchange, recognition, and inspiration, where every individual victory becomes a collective pride.
Let us keep pedalling together towards a future where African cycling holds the place it truly deserves: at the summit.
With warm sporting regards,
Dr Yao Allah-KouaméPresident of the Confederation of African Cycling
